If it matters, even the Hong Kong store has Penryn now. The highest price/spec config comes with t8300 standard and option for t9300 or t9500. The cpu upgrades are costly (even the base config for m1330 in HK is higher than that of US) and the t9500 option costs around 700 bucks USD if i converted it right.

Also, does the 8400m gs card come in ddr 3 or 2? cause it is ddr 3 in HK.

Without going into details, Penryn is also available for m1730, Inspiron 1420 but no Penryn for m1530 yet!!

Update - The whole Inspiron line except the 1525 has Penryn. Its definitely coming for you guys in the states soon!!!

Also have t8100 available in the basic configuration for about ~$65 over the price of T7250.

The 8400m GS in the M1330 is DDR3 in the US as well.

Penryn is also available on the New Zealand Dell site for the m1330 (free upgrade T9300) and many models inc. m1330 have Penryn available on the Dell China site.
