Did the laptop come with a restore DVD, a regular Vista DVD, or just a recovery partition? I asked the person on the phone that took my order and she said they only come with partitions because of Vista but I saw something in my order list that mentioned a Vista DVD. What did you guys receive?

I would assume so but they list a Vista DVD somewhere in my parts list.

If its a recovery partition, would it work well to image the installed-Windows with True Image, then nuke both partition, form 1 big partition then restore the image? I need all of ~148GB (160GB after formatting, BS naming conventions from HD manus) that I can get. Losing 20GB for Dell's restore isnt good for me.

Awesome, an actual Vista DVD? So I can just nuke both partition and and reinstall a fresh copy w/o the Dell BS. Thanks for the help :)
