Since dell discontinue the peral white m1330 .
    1. How rare is it?
    2. How many people actually have the pearl white compare to BLACK OR RED

    thanks.

If I'm not mistaken, pearl white and crimson red are glossy while the black isn't.
And the new white color isn't glossy, or is it?

Too bad they couldn't make the black paint glossy, that would be sweet.

Crazy. 1900 bucks and it only has the T5250 1.5GHz CPU and 1 year warranty.

"The laptop is made in Malaysia, which has the better performance overall.very different from the china and taiwan models." lol. A perfect example of traders puff.

Dell is worldwide i am not sure if those numbers are meant to include the EU and the rest of the world as well or just North America.
I supposedly have a Pearl White XPS M1330 and i am still yet to see any kind of pearl effect.
If the Alpine white is glossy which i would tend to think that it is as i have seen Ebay auctions of it where it was listed as such and the Alpine White is glossy on the Inspiron models you may well struggle to tell a difference between the two.
It seemed like the Pearl White XPS M1330 was quite popular on this forum at least 15% of those 297 orders would have come from this forum alone.
As for it being a collectors item not quite but it may help your sale a bit by having one.

The number I stated was the worldwide count for pearl White. they are extremely rare. The difference between Pearl and the Alpine white is the finish and look. It is a higher gloss with so many coats of finish. This is why it was cancelled as well. They couldnt get a high enough standard with the final 3 coas with respect to keeping the dust particles out of the finish.
