    Phased Out - Inspiron 8600 ?

    Just wondering if the Inspiron 8600 is being phased out? Is it being replaced with something else...if so, whats it being replaced with ?

    The Inspiron 9300 is the replacement for the 8600 series.

    Well, the 8600 had a much better video card than even the dedicated video card on the 9200. Also, the 8600 had the modular bay to put an additional battery and the 9200 doesn't. Not the best replacement if you ask me.
