Does it have a driver on the Dell page? I'm looking and don't see a Philips driver under the removable media... Thought it had to have a driver??

Ditto. I have the same drive and there is no driver needed. I'm on my second cake (already burned 50 DVDs) of Verbatim DVD-Rs.
