    I only have the 9 cell and I hate it, it's bulky and weighs a ton so i'm wondering if the 6 cell is worth the money for a better size (a rep on Dell chat told me they are no longer selling 4 cells)

    6 and 4 cell are the same size. So if you've seen a picture of a m1330 with no hump then it could be either.
