    Guys...I have these many pictures of Ruby Red Inspiron lid in this forum and in the internet. The color in many of the pictures are misleading. It is shown too bright in some pictures. I have tried to capture my inspiron Ruby Red lid to show the closest possible color. Cheers!!!

    I think the vast majority of internet pics don't do these lids justice...I went to the Dell kiosk before receiving my laptop and still couldn't have anticipated how dark it would be...

    I have tried my best to capture the original color. Do you see this image to be close to what you saw in the kiosk? I was confused and worried seeing some bright red colors. So thought I can avoid someone else also going through the same agony by posting whatever closest color I can get....

    How do I move this to another thread? The reason why I posted this here was because most people who have ordered but still haven't received their laptop come here hoping to find some information about the laptop. So I thought this would be the right place to post it. Anyways how do I move this to another thread?

    But I do think that's pretty close to the actual color.

    absolutely LOVE mine, couldn't be happier with the color, it's not too bright, it's just perfect. And to think I almost got a white, then almost a black (and also considered pink and blue.)

    The colour still seems too bright you know... Are you sure it is still a Dark Red or my monitor brightness is set way too high ?

    honestly that was my biggest concern with ordering the red, I had my doubts, especially once it was shipped out, but once I opened the Dell box and saw how gorgeous the color is, I was SO happy with it. I think you will be as well!
