Pictures Of Ruby Red And Jet black 1520's coming soon

Originally ordered ruby red through telesales, Ship date was estimated 5 weeks away, Reps told me that the delay chart on the site was not realistic and shouldnt be used for reference.... Ridiculus, Went refurbished, shipped within 24 hours, Why dont more carriers ship over the holiday weekend? id pay for that

Also have an m1710 and a 1420 to compare it to. so ill get some good reference shots for you prospective buyers. The ruby red 1520 is 1680 1050 2.2 ghz 4gb 8600m gt dvd rw dl bluetooth wireless n 160gb 7200 rpm, so im going to benchmark it etc. also, ill let yall know

 

how come you got so many laptops(2 1520's, 1 1420, 1 xps m1710)ya nust be richto add an xps m1710 to your lineup.

 

Not rich, Dell Accidentally sent me a 1520 that i had cancelled, and later sent me a 1520 i ordered, I have had an m1710 For a long time now but they are all being returned now Here are some pics, The Ruby Red and im guessing every other color but black have this Microfiber Coating , like a really nice rubberization, the black is just slippery plastic, Not nearly as nice feeling or as durable looking. I really recommend going with one of the colors. I Am returning the 1520 because the webcam connection is defective and because the 8600m GT is really not powerful enough for the price. The Black inspiron lid is pretty much exactly like the vostro 1500 Lid, I wish the inspiron 14/15/1720 notebooks had customizable black/silver/white keyboards.

 

you kno what'd be even sicker. keyboards that lit up so i can see in the dark
but i've got my mavis beacon typing down pat.

 

My hope is the keyboard on the m1530 will be interchangeable with the 1520 that would be awesome!

 

The white is enamel white paint, not like any of the other colors.
The biggest problem with the colors is that if some jerk writes on them with a ball point pen, you can't get it off.

 

If I'm not mistaken your 14" machine looks more like an e1405 than a 1420
