Sorry to dissapoint guys but the image shows 2 D410 notebooks side by side, neither of those are part of the new range.

Trust me.. i was playing with the new range at work on friday.

They do look and feel very nice and there are a few nice new features too.

You'll just have to wait a bit longer.

I hope the casing is black in the new series ;-)

The old grayish color scheme was really boring

Cases are going to be styled like the D410, so it's sliver outside and black inside.

Wow, that's a nice looking machine. Kinda resembles the HP Compaq NC6000 design I've long been in love with ever since I was hooked to Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines. :p

edit: Say, is there a pdf out there that shows the D820?

Do a search for Precision M65 and M90 and you will see pics of the precision M65 which uses the exact same case as the D820. This search would be on notebookforums.com

Can you cheat a little and answer the following question...

How likely am I going to want to change my plans to order an HP nc8230 for a D820 instead??

This is killing me! I've heard rumors about the D620 for close to a month now! All I really want is for Dell to catch up to Toshiba, IBM & Sony, I've already bought and returned a 700M and a Z60M because I keep hearing the D620 is being released tomorrow! It's killing me!!:

    D820 Spec sheet
    http://www.dell.com/downloads/emea/products/latit/Latit_D820_Spec_Sheet.pdf

Some countries have the D620 and D820 now listed, including Norway, Sweden and Germany.

    http://www1.euro.dell.com/content/products/compare.aspx/nb_performance?c=no&cs=nodhs1&l=no&s=dhs

Aparently though, they aren't providing them initially with the Nvidia Quadro, only the onboard Intel GMA 950.

I expect because there might be a short supply, since Dell overcommited themselves with the Nvidia 7800Go on the I9400, and have had to switch to the ATI X1400. Rumour is the NVidia are discontinuing the 7800 also.
