Does anyone have some good quality pictures of their Vostro 1500? Mine is still in pre-production and it would be nice to get a preview while I'm waiting. :)

I have my vostro 1500 but my sister has her digital camera :(. I may be able to get some later today, but cant guarantee anything. It looks really sleek though, trust me and the ethernet port glows red when the cord is in and it looks pretty cool.
I can answer any questions related to the look if youd like...

What battery life do you get and what are you doing to achieve the battery life you say you are getting.

I havent done much with taking out and checking this but I will this afternoon.
The good thing is that you can make your own power save profile where you can tweak all the settings instead of just having one power save mode. Im gunna make multiple depending on what im doing (light gaming, word processing etc.). This is probably standard on most laptops, but it wasnt on my toshiba so im happy :).

    looks exactly like that^

ok starting battery power time and this is my setup (not a hardcore battery saving setup):
    Turn off display: never
    Turn off Hard Drive: never
    System Suspend: never
    Timeout to Hibernate: never
Display Brightness: 2 (still quite visible)

Then, I have a wired internet connection and just doing basic surfing and such. Right now its been on 16 minutes and the battery is at 93%, estimated time remaining is 5hours 32 minutes....woah

However, take into consideration Im not doing hardcore activities and the screen may need to be brighter if gone outdoors (although probably not). Also Im not using a wireless connection, so that saves battery. The modes however cannot tweak processor speed so the computer is still running extremely quick.

yes, I just did some plumbing work in the house for about 30 minutes but left the computer running. now its been 2 hours 33 minutes and the battery is 50% remaining with an estimated 3 hours left. I havent been using it constantly so thats one reason why its so high, but judging by the percentage changes when I am using it I wouldnt be surprised if it would get atleast 4 and a half hours with internet surfing, flash game playing, and word processing. Amazing numbers for a notebook!

If you used it constantly how long do you think the battery life would be?
