So far, all I've seen is the popular red lid. It's just too bright and a bit ostentatious for my liking, so I'd like a look at the others. Has anyone, here or elsewhere, gotten their XPS in black or white?

Unfortunately, no one has the m1330 yet... but you can look @ other review sites (and Dell.com) and look at their colors there.

I think the colors are the same as the new Inspiron colors (at least, the red Inspiron 1420 color looks identical to the XPSM1330 color), so if you find photos of people's black or white Inspiron 1420's and 1520's, I think it should give you a pretty good idea.

black is the ultimate camouflage for fat people.

likewise it will make your 1330 look even sleeker

I've seen the 1420 in black, thanks to the review here at NBR. However, I'd like to get a taste for how it looks on the 1330 body, which is admittedly different from the Inspirons.

Great! Because, as we all know, the 1330 is such a fat laptop. :D

google "CNBC xps m1330" and find the video they did at Macy's the day they opened. They show all three colors in the video as well as all the inspirons colors

I was going to go with RED but I am going to be using the laptop in a corporate environment, so RED is a little too flashy for my situation.

I would most definitely go with black. It looks so good on the m1330.

My friend recently got a 1520 in black, and I must say, it's one sexy machine. Makes my silver 6400 look bad. :(

The black has one slight disadvantage in my oppinion, the black cover of the 1520 i've seen was pretty prone to fingerprints.

    Black Matte or Black Glossy?

I think the m1330 is a black matte... so its kinda hard to get fingerprints on there (I would think).

Like everyone has already said, the easiest way to find images would be to just go to dell.com and configure one yourself because when you're changing between colors, their image will change to match that color. There are also pictures that people have posted in previous threads so you can just search M1330 pictures

    Here's one of them:
