I pin modded my inspiron 1300, I follow all the steps and pinned the 15th and 16th hole at the socket. I can boot up my system, when I go in to BIOS, Ii doesn't show the system is running at 533Mhz and my speed is still 1.4 Ghz. However, when I look at the system properities of windows. It shows I am running at 1.86Ghz. I use CPUZ and it checked I am running 533Mhz @ 1.86Ghz. I can feel the speed changes and the system run faster, but I want to know are there any ways to change the BIOS reading ?

    -Thanks-

Nope, but the good thing it that it really doesn't matter. Youre computer is running the cpu 1.86@533fsb but the memory is still @ 400. It sucks but there's nothing you can do.

Yea.. The 400mhz DDR memory is slowing it down. But hey it's still running at 1.86ghz :)
