This just happened today, and I would be grateful if anyone could please tell me a way to fix this. The plastic around the keyboard is coming up around the edge of the laptop, and I was wondering if it could just be glued back down. I live in a very small town, so the closest place to repair it is over an hour away, so any way to fix it at home would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Are some screws missing from the underside of the laptop?

What model is it? Go to support.dell.com and find the service manual for it. Remove and reseat the palmrest. If nothing is broken and no screws are missing, that should fix it.

No, I don't even see any place where screws would go in right there. It just popped up at the front of the laptop at first, then it started coming off closer to the back.
