I bought the angel USB TV tuner along w/ my E1705.

tried playing ps2, but the quality is fuzzy, and also there's like a 1second lag.

does anyone know how to solve this problem?

    thanks!

Well I have no experience with the Dell Angel USB TV Tuner, but I have experienced lag from a TV tuner before.

I currently use an ATi TV Wonder in my desktop and I experienced a similar 1 second lag while using ATi's software to watch TV. Having purchased the card with the intent to play my PS2 through my desktop, I ended up finding a different program to use my tuner card, specifically DScaler.

Unfortunately, I believe DScaler does not support the Dell Angel USB TV Tuner due to driver issues. You may want to check their forums however. Otherwise I would try different programs to implement the TV tuner. I can't think of any other solution though, without suggesting to ditch that tuner and get a different one :(

It's your TV tuner not the computer. I read reviews everywhere and I ended up buying a Leadtek Winfast USB TV II -- This cost me about $130 at the time, but it was a hub, a tv tuner, dvr, and had every connection imaginable. There was no lag on S-Video or component. Anyway, the ATI one has some lag, but better than others. Go to newegg.com and read TV tuner reviews there. As for me, I used that TV tuner on my HP ZD7168CL.. played PS2 games perfectly. If I tried it now on this 9400, then I'm sure things would be even better. Good luck.

composit and maybe svideo. Unless you are going some place where another tv is not possible, using a tv capture card to turn your monitor into a display is the LAST solution you should seek for playing your game system through. You will get no where near the quality the monitor can provide, and in most cases, capture cards have a time lag due to their video buffer.
