    Playing region 2 dvds with windows media center

    I have Video Lan player that plays region 2 dvds.

    Is there a way to allow windows media player to play these dvds with video lans codecs?

    Also, same for dell direct media with the direct media button when the power is OFF. Is there a way for you to use video lans codecs to play region 2 dvds?

    Yes, there's a way - in your settings you should be able to set it - remember that you can change it up to a certain amount of times (5 total but since it comes as region 1, you're down to 4, so changing it to 2 leaves you with 3 and changing it back brings you to 2)

    I'm using Intervideo - it's under my setup and the pop will have tabs - one of them is region
