    Please Help: Dell Outlet Order Status....

    Merry Xmas and Happy new year folks! =)

    Anyway about my situation, I ordered a laptop from Dell Outlet as well as an Xbox 360 from Dell home in the same day and both where "Shipped" the same time in my order status, wierd part was the Xbox 360 was actually supposed to be delayed (received an email) but then I checked the status again and it was Shipped so I was happy (received the Tracking# and now see that it is in my area and will get it on monday).

    But for some odd reason the laptop that I ordered from Dell still has no tracking and when I call the automated order status number It's telling me its in transit to carrier... for 3 days? I'm kind of in a bind because I need it by next week, suppose to be a present and the person I'm giving it too will be leaving by then. Anyone know a number that I can get in contact with a live representative to help me out? I tried the numbers on the site but it always puts me back to the automated order status, I even looked around here but same thing. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

    I ordered an Dell Inspiron 1525 last week and received it this Tuesday, but the tracking number IS STILL not there. I think you should call Dell Customer Service and get a live representative on the line. They'll tell you what the number is. That's how I got my tracking number.

    Thanks will give it a try tomorow, kind of late here. Anyway I also ordered the Dell Inspirion 1525 =). I hope I receive it the same day as my Xbox 360 on monday... would make me very happy =)

    I also had this same thing happen when i ordered my dell mini 9 from the outlet.
    It said it was shipped but I never received a tracking number until called dell and got a real human who gave me the tracking number ;)

    Yes, if you do speak with a live Customer Care Rep. they can give you the tracking number. They can also contact the Carrier on your behalf to find out exactly where your shipment is at that time.

    They did this for me last January when my 1530 was being shipped.
    In fact, they actually put me on hold, and did a 3 way call between all of us. So I could hear the actual status update from DHL. I felt much better after that knowing of my status! ;) :D

    Thanks for the help guys, anyway I got the tracking number and it's already with Fedex, says it should arrive on the 12/30. =)
