    Please help me. I bought 1540 and tried to re-install Vista

    well, before i re-installed windows, my graphics and gaming graphics were at 3.8+ but now it's at 1.

    I know i need to download a driver or something, but i don't know which one!

    thanks in advance...it's my first PC...

    Run Windows Update and see if it picks up the driver.

    If not... dell.com, support section, drivers & downloads

    Also, you may need to tell WEI to re-run the tests to refresh your scores.

    Try dell.com, they should have a list of the latest drivers for you.

    -Oh, I thought you were talking about drivers, if it's WEI, just run it again.

    i don,t see a dell 1540 at their site, do you mean you bought a xps 1530?

    Sorry! it was Inspiron 1545.

    And i downloaded all the recommended and urgent drivers from the website, and everything is okay now.

    But my Dell Dock application is gone. i downloaded the driver, but the file is nothing but a text file that says, "please visit dell.com to install..."
