    The BIOS may not support that card. That's part of the problem with upgrading video on your own.

    hmm I upp the bios to the latest one of the 8000 which is a23. I read on a few websites that this card works with the 8000 but has power issues with Hitachi screens. from what i can tell my 15" UXGA is a Sharp

    he swears it did work in his. i downgraded to the a22 bios but still no change. I took out the lcd and the manufacturer is Sharp 15" UXGA which from what i have read should be fine

    put your other card back in and if it works, then i'd put money on a faulty card
