My laptop (fujitsu s7021)just died few days ago. It makes me decide not to buy a laptop higher than 1500 anymore.
After couple days of researching, I decided to get E 1505 over Hp dv 6000t. But I have some questions about whether I should customize the laptop this way.
Here is the questions:
1.Is it worth to spend $125 to upgrade the cpu from t 5500 to t7200?
2. I think I will get ram from others way rather upgrade the rams to 2gb from dell, is it hard to install the ram by myself or is it just as easy as install a ram to a desktop?
3. is 80gb harddisk big enough for normal use?
4. I would like to know how big difference between gma 950 and the ati x1400, and is that a good upgrade.
5.is it worth to get the wireless n stuff?
6. is 1 year warranty good enough for dell if i only bring it to school twice a week and the rest it will stay at home?
7. This is my first time to purchase a Dell laptop, is there anything I should notice.
8. Will there have a good deal for next week that I should wait 2 or 3 days.

Depends on what you are doing, but probably not.
Memory is not hard to install.
You can always upgrade later if you need more space.
You'll only need the graphic card if you plan on playing games.
N is a new wireless standard.
You might want to check out the warranty guide.
Dells are known for low prices, not quality or support.
You're notebook will at some point will sell for less. No one here knows when that will be.
You might want to consider the FAQ and post over there. There may be something better for your needs. -
