    Hi, I just wanted to have some reviews of my config of my xps m1330. I want to make sure its right for my purposes since I still have time to change it.

    What I plan to use it for-
    - Web Surfing
    - Watching and creating youtube videos
    - Music- playing, recording, editing
    - Student Work
    - Some large applications such as Finale 2007
    - Light online gaming

    I would definitely get 2gigs of ram; other than that it looks good.

    I'd definitely up the CPU and RAM if possible - you're doing some very system intensive tasks (music editing + finale) and you could definitely use all the power you can get.

    I don't really think the LED screen is necessary for my purposes. If it was cheaper I may do it, but I hear visually, it barely makes a difference. Its just the energy efficiency and size.

    About adding ram, if I were to have a pro do it (I'm open-up-a-notebookphobic) would it be cheaper than having it just come with the system? Would it affect the warranty, and would it have any neg affects on the notebook? Once I had a motherboard changed on a notebook, and the whole thing fell apart (literally, and physically) and was never the same. I'm thinking it may just be safer to have dell install it as an original component of the notebook.
