I was thinking of ordering a few accessories so I would have everything my laptop needs when it gets here. Could you go throught the list and make any recommendations or suggestions.

    1) Backpack

I am looking for a nice backpack that will hold up well while travelling - shouldnt be too bulky - a nice clean tapering design would be nice. Most importantly, the laptop should fit snug in the sleeve. I am going to be carrying my note book and a few random things (1 or 2 Books, My watches, ipod, camera couple of hats and thats about it.) So far I have shortlised the following:
    Swiss Army Maxxum Blue

    North Face Bandwith

    North Face Surge
    [IMG]
    North Face Recon
    [IMG]
    Oakley Icon 2.0

I also like the Asus G1 Backpack - Are there any makes similar to this?

    2) Mouse

I like a full sized wireless mouse over the trackpad. Since my laptop is bluetooth enabled, should I get a BT mouse (Will I be able to control multiple BT items at a time?) or a wireless mouse? Any model / brand recommendations.

    3) RAM

I bought the laptop with 1 GB memory so I need to install another gig. I am going to order from Newegg. Whats the best performing model / make that fits with the greatest eaze (i.e. no modifying, etc. - just clipping it straight in) Also - I understand that right now I have 2 X 512. Should I get 2 X 1GB or should I get just 1X 2GB and install it so I'll have 2.5 GB of Ram? which combo will perform better?

    4) TurboCache \ Robson \ huh?

I have no clue what this is and what it does but from some posts I have picked up - it is cheap and fits in the 1520? Should I get this from Amazon and is it easy to install and will I see any difference in performance?

    5) Note Book Sleeve

Can you recommen a nice note book sleeve that is thin that I can put around the laptop when I dont want to carry the backpack? If it would fit in the backpacks note book sleeve, - thats a plus.

    6) BT Headphones

Is it worth getting BT headphones for when I travel? Will it work with Media direct and is it more power efficent as oposed to wired headphones?

    Many Thanks for your inputs!

Definitely get a BT mouse, unless you miss the fancier features only found in other mice.

Get matching sticks of ram, there is a slight performance boost.

Thanks aaa - Okay so I'll get the 2 X 1 GB Ram and a BT mouse - I just want a simple 1-2 click - Is the Logitech V207 good? Also can I use multiple BT itmes at the same time eg. mouse, headset, palm pilot?

Be careful with installing 2x 1 gig sticks. I hope you know to do both you have to do one underneath the notebook but the other you have to tack off the keyboard and everything and will be able to see the entire guts of your notebook.

Yea - I was aware that I'd have to open up the keyboard. Not that worried about that since I have built my own desktop so I am fine with a little assembly - dissasembly but if it is more convinient to just get 1 X 2GB and throw it underneath the laptop, I don't mind doing that as long as the 2.5GB performance is the same as the 2 X 1 GB performance. Any Brands I should look at? Maybe YoJr can suggest something or maybe someone has got their laptop and has upgraded RAM? Thanks.

corsair is a good brand, check out the hot ram deals thread, its really cheap there. You should wait until something goes on sale if you want anything bluetooth. I got a pretty sweet bluetooth mouse with an 800dpi setting or a fast switch to 1600 dpi, retail 70 bucks but after instant sale discount and mail in rebate it comes to 10 bucks.
