Ordered a laptop on DELL.com on 1/29, now think do not need it any more. Called customer service several times. Each time I was told it was impossible to cancel an order that shows status as 'in production'. But I also read from elsewhere that people can still cancel an order as long as it is not shipped. I insist on cancelling it at this time because I do not want to pay the 15% restocking fee if choose to return the laptop to DELL.

Can anyone tell me if there is a method to cancel a DELL order? What number is it? Do I need to talk to a supervisor?
