So I recently got a Inspiron 9400(e1705) with the specs below including the 9-cell battery.

and with vista ultimate on the notebook with full charge and screen brightness I got 2 hours, but when I went back to XP (vista video drivers too buggy :p) I get closer to 3 hours of battery life.

So just wondering, what kind of battery life do you get on your e1705 or 9400??

[stating what # cell battery you have might not be a bad idea either] [/

I do not have the 9 cell and just have the standard battery. I get about 1 hour 20 minutes on a full charge. Not too good but it's a desktop replacement so I'm not too concerned.
