I'm not too sure what dell are playing at but they definately are going downhill, Purchased a 1530 which was DOA, replacement notebook i received was also faulty, the screen kept flickering whilst power adapter was plugged in.

Received my third replacement yesterday which also is faulty, stuck/dead pixels scattered all over the screen and the power button is tilted, and not aligned properly so have to in a weird way to power on.

Although i got my notebook at a very very cheap price, It's not really worth going through all this pain, having waiting 20-25 days for a replacement, therefore I have requested to have a refund.

I previously had an inspiron but decided to go for the xps as i wanted a powerhouse.

dont get me wrong, I would've loved to keep it but i sold my inspiron and have no notebook, The XPS is very powerful machine.

Just spoke to technical support, who have arranged for the notebook to be collected for a refund.

    Cheesh that does sound bad.
I'm in the US and I orderd a Latitude d630 which arrived at my house in exactly 4 days after purchase. It worked flawless right before I sold it for more than I had originally bought it for :D
