I'm hoping to order a Studio 17 in the next month - I'm waiting for the flush mount LCD display.

I intend to spend over $2k on this machine but cannot get the following options from Dell's website:
    - Extra 9-cell battery ($299 from Accessories....are you kidding me?????)
    - AC/DC power adapter

Why would Dell release a line for which they didn't have accessories? When I bought my 9300 I bought three batteries and the AC/DC adapter and I want to get everything at once here too and not piecemeal the system together.

Does anyone else have this problem? I'm leaning to the HP dv7 because they seem to have their act together (along with the flush display I'm waiting on Dell to release)

The dv7t is a better notebook in my opinion. Better build, better looks, better GPU (if you need it).

Isn't an AC/DC power adapter a standard plug-in? I'm 99% sure a charger COMES with the laptop...if it doesn't that would be odd.
