    Positive Dell tech support experience

    Yesterday I had a strange issue with my new Dell Lat 420. Some how the ability to change the colors in the dialog boxes would not change from MS blue to the colors I prefer. I spent quite a bit of time with Dell support using the Chat function and allowing them to take control of the 420 while I chatted with them using a E1505. They were very patient and persistent in trying to solve the problem. It was finally fixed after over an hour of help.

    I know that Dell gets bashed from time to time about poor support. That has not been my experience with the three Dell notebooks I own over the last 5 + years.

    That's right,but when people get fed-up with a bad customer support experience they let it all out in places like this.
    But this failure was not hardware related, many of the complaints comes from bad experience with damaged motherboards , drivers not working , and this sort of stuff...
