On a recent trip to Japan, my XPS 1330 had difficulties and would not boot. Through online chat with Dell tech support, it was diagnosed as a motherboard problem. Through further contact with Dell Japan, a replacement motherboard was shipped to my hotel within two days and that same day a Dell representative repair person showed up in a black suit and tie. Within a short time, the tech person had completely disassembled my 1330 and installed the new motherboard. Needless to say, the trip would have been unproductive without my notebook but Dell support came through in the crisis. Can't say enough about their warranty. Thanks Dell!
