    Possible to get windows media centre edition on dell laptops?

    I know its not one options online, but what if I were to go to a dell kiosk and negotiate?

    Nope...that is an XP OS. If it is not an option online, Dell will not offer it.

    what about on a vostro? they allow xp.

    Last I checked I think Vostro only has options for Home and Pro...so no, you could not get MCE.

    You could pick up a copy of MCE OEM off of NewEgg though, but you'd have to install it yourself.

    ... if you want Media Center, I suggest you get Vista Home Premium or Vista Ultimate (has the Media Center in there)!
