    Possible to modify Vostro smart value package?

    I am looking to buy my first laptop.
    I was looking at the Vostro 1500 Smart Value Package at Dell Canada.

    I like this deal, and would get the webcam and upgrade the battery.
    However, I would rather not get Truelife, but - there is no option to not have it! :confused:

    Would I have any luck asking to get this package with a matte screen?

    You might as well try calling a rep and seeing if they can do it for you. If one doesn't you can always try a few times to see if you get lucky. I tried and failed-wanted to save $100 by downgrading cpu to T7300, but there was no option in the package I got.
