Hi, I'm wondering if its's feasible to replace the keyboard that comes with the e1505 and put in another keyboard with a trackpoint. I just like using it better than the touchpad. If so which keyboard has the same footprint as the e1505 and where could I order one.

On a related note, is there a connector on the motherboard for both a trackpoint and touchpad to input, or will I have to choose which I want to be functional. Thanks!

As far as I know it isn't possible. On most of the inspirons (not sure about the new series) you only have one connector which is the keyboard connector.
