Possible to upgrade Inspiron 1520 Laptop Processor?

    I have a 1.5GHZ C2D

I want to know if in future i can upgrade the processor, and how easy is it to upgrade the processor?

How much would a 2.0+ Ghz cost now? Would dell install it for me?

    Do you recommend me upgrading?

    Can i mess something up?

Please answer the above questions as i am confused :)

Possible? Yes. Worthwhile? No. The look on your face if you mess up? Priceless.

You can upgrade the processor yourself.... You can get the processor alone on newegg and replace it in the place of your old processor.... I dont think DELL would be able to upgrade the processor for you.... Besides it is cheaper to do it yourself you know..... There are manuals available on the DELL site too I guess explaining the instructions for upgrading the processor and stuff....
