This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Consumerist has gotten wind of the long delays on Dell's new laptops. Help DIGG the article and bring some more attention to it. Maybe some more press can add some urgency to Dell completing its orders quicker.

    You would also have to worry about a lower build quality if they were "rushed." Cheaper parts, cheaper labor.

    Apparently, Dell and the press is only aware of the delays on the XPS systems. I know that these bring in more money, but lets not forget about the poor Inspiron buyers!

    they're trying to pull something. on the order status it kept saying it is under maintenance and will be back in a few minutes for like days...

    Yes, why is that? Are they totally unaware that they are not shipping their Inspirons either? They haven't made any acknowledgement of that on their blog.
