    I managed to get through to the automated phone status number but still in build unfortunately at this rate my est. ship date is fast approaching and no progress est ship date 8/1 with overnight shipping so I should have it by next thursday at least but im hoping for sooner.

    Don't be surprised if a TV crew lands up at your place.. the first guy to get hold of the 1330.. :eek:

    The XPS is supposed to have a 90 day No Bright Dot guarantee.. At least it's included in my quotation...

    XPS is supposed to be a premium product, you'd expect a better dead pixel policy than for Inspirons....

    My guess is they will replace if you complain enough.

    Yep HCW you are right...they don't know crap! He said, it would ship within 3-5 days. He said, your scheduled delivery is a few days away but I corrected him that is wasn't til August 29th, not July 29th.
