    Has anyone ever had the power and MediaDirect buttons switch functions?

    My girlfriend has an Inspiron 1420 and hers did just that. She pushed the power button and it started up MediaDirect which couldn't recognize her hard drive. So after a few attempts and looking around in the BIOS, with no luck, I pushed the MediaDirect button and the comp booted into Windows. Any thoughts as to why this happened or how it happened?

    The buttons switched back after I restarted it through Windows.
