    Power supply bad???

    I have a dell D610 and also a D620 and the power cords/supplies went bad. What are the model PS/cords do i need to purchase ro replace them. I got them mixed up and do not know which goes to which???

    Dell has been making virtually the same 65W and 90W adaptors for all their laptops for the past few years. The one from the 610 will almost certainly work with the 620 and vice versa, so you can take the model number from either one.

    (For the record I'm currently using the 90W adaptor from my D830 to power a 4 year old Inspiron 500m)

    I thought I switched them and all of the sudden I got burned in lines all up and down on my crt....not sure what happened but I think laptop is shot
