I'm New with laptops. What I really want to know is if I can leave the laptop on with my powersupply connected. If not for how long can I leave it connected? Because what I noticed is that the laptop doesn't work properly without the powersupply connected.

You can leave it plugged in all the time if you want. I only disconnect mine from the power when I am going to take it with me. But yeah you can leave it connected 24/7 like a desktop would be if you wanted to.
