This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    When you pre-order a system from Dell, does it usually arrive on the release date or do they ship it out on the release date? I pre-ordered the Ivy Bridge XPS 13 that is due to be released this Thursday and my shipping estimate is October 29th and I'm hoping to receive it before next weekend.
