I get the EPP discount through my school but I'm looking at buying a Precision notebook. When I go to the EPP site every kind of notebook is available, even the other business ones like the new Latitudes, but there's no Precision in sight? The 12% discount would be nice.

@seanbow: Even my school's discount website doesn't include the Precisions under the discount. I would love to get the M4400 with 12% off! Do you get the Vostros on your EPP site?

You gotta call the automated line. Once in production there are subcategories:
Kitting, build, testing, boxing. And than what everyone waits for: Shipping (which shows on the site)

My first order that I ended up canceling had spent 2 weeks in 'build' b4 i canceled it.

    Okay...
Do you think I'd be able to get the EPP discount if I called in and asked about it? I'll try later I guess.

And the Vostros aren't on my page either.

Really doubt you can a discount now. They'll most likely tell you they can't do it and the only way to do it was to cancel and reorder like I did.

@lateinningmagic: I don't think seanbow has placed an order yet.

@seanbow: I was thinking of contacting my school's IT people and asking them about it.

Right, I haven't ordered yet. So is the cheapest way to get one just through the small business site with no coupons right now?

Is there some site that actually lists what all the Quadros really are in Geforce terms? Drives me nuts how hard it is to find what they really are.

That post lists out a whole bunch of GeForce and Quadro Mobile GPUs and you can compare the cores on the two lines. Two cards built from the same core will show similar performance if all the other specifications are identical. However, Nvidia uses different clock speeds and/or memory types sometimes, which makes it a little harder to do a direct comparison. Still, useful to get an idea of what to expect.
