So anyone have any predictions on when Dell will get the combination correct with the XPS machines? I see that AlienWare has put out their m5550 with a core 2 duo and the nvidia 7600 in a 15.4" package. I'm hoping that Dell would follow suit with an XPS as they own Alienware. This is really an ideal combination for me (14.1" would be even cooler but you can't have your cake and eat it too). I have a special notebook program through my work but I can only choose from Dell XPS machines or Lenovo T series. I really need to get a notebook before December as I'm taking a vacation far away but I'll need a powerful machine to do work remotely.

I really wish they had a 15" XPS (M1510) that had a 7600/X1600. That would have been perfect for me. But the M1210 was closer to what I wanted/needed than the M1710 so its what I got. Mabey in 3-4 years when I buy a new one, there will be a M1515 or something, with a 8 or 9 series Nvidia SM4 card, 4GHz Core 3? Quad-core, that would be my dream machine. And I say Quad-core, 4GHz Core 3 because at the rate technology is advancing, I see that as being very possible in 4 years, in a notebook.
