I looked in the coupon section and didn't see any mention of this. Dell is having a presidents day sale and pretty good discounts on Inspiron and XPS. Some up to $599 on XPS. If this is old news or the wrong place, mods just move or delete.

I went thruogh the purchase routine and tried entering the $100 dell coupon code from here at the forum on the XPS and it kicked out the $599 discount.... Includes 3yr waranty, 3gig ram, hi-deff screen, free shipping, etc

good on xps orders made by 2/21

I'll post the link for anyone who wants to take a look.

i ended up ordering one and no matter how I did the math, the $599 off was up to $300-$400 less than the coupons or online sales here at the forum....

Unfortunately not that much better than the previous $499 off since it forces you to buy 3GB of Dell Ram and upgrade to the 200GB 7200 RPM drive (both expensive upgrades at Dell)....

If you follow the coupon link in this site you can configure (some strange defaults!) the 1530 that it takes you to and then apply the coupon code. That's why I decided to order on today. :)

Well.. same system I purchased two weeks ago with $499 off is ~$250 more expensive. If the 200GB drive over 160GB and the additional 1GB of ram ($499 configuration came with 2GB) is worth an additional $250 then this is a good deal. Note that this configuration doesn't come with the LED display.. (an additional $150)
