    Hi all,

I've been interested in the m1210 for some time, but I haven't been watching the price for very long and then the proc was upgraded, so now I'm not sure when to look towards buying. I was wondering how much the price varies or drops as time goes on. I've heard that there's a markup on the new Core 2 Duo procs... Wondering if I should go ahead and order now or wait a little while. i'm not in a hurry, but I've been waiting to see what would happen with the new proc upgrade prices, and I'm going to bite the bullet sometime.

I was considering the following spec: Core 2 Duo 2.0 GHz, 1 GB RAM (would upgrade later), 100 GB 7200 RPM HD, DVD burner optical drive, NVIDIA Go 7400, webcam installed, larger battery option, totalling about $2000.

    Thanks!

buy when you need, or when you can no longer wait. wait more, and price goes down, as new tech comes out. neverending. right now is going to be the peak for core2, but seeing XPS price history, they dont fluctuate much. id get it now and enjoy it.
