The day after I received my 1520 I find this new 425 off an inspiron over 1399 (mine was just over 1400) The coupon I used only got me 325 off. I dont want to send this back and wait for a new one, that seems a little rediculous to me. Is there anything dell will do? some kind of price adjustment? or even a credit?
I'm more the thrilled with my new notebook but at the same time I feel kind of burned? It would be one thing if the coupon came out 30+ days after I received it... but 2 days? common, doesn't seem fair.

You can always call and ask if they are willing to give you the difference, if not, send it back so you will not regret the savings.
-
Just call and say you are returning it so you can re-order with the other coupon, they will probably just give you the difference to save them (and you, but they don't care as much about that) a bunch of time and money.
-
Like they said.... you have a limited time window for complete refund... tell them you'll use it...

Both parties agreed to the price, that is very fair. Prices change all the time.

what is the time window for a full refund? where can i find the invoice date?
asked for replacement sept 19th...shipped sept 24th...arrived sept 26th.
this 1520 i have has many problems and i want to just go ahead and order a new one with the new coupon that just came out. will dell still give me a full refund? or will they charge tax/restocking fees? also if they wont include the tax/restocking fee's do you think they would give me a full refund in dell credit? -
I guess I'll just call them tomorrow and hope they dont call my bluff. I'll let you know what happens, wish me luck!

Just an update, I was able to get dell to refund $100 to my card!!
I first spoke to someone in customer service (india) and they were no help and after 30 mins of explaining my story they offered $50 credit I asked to speak with a supervisor although I was cut off.
I called back this time to returns and I spoke to someone in the US (figures they want people that speak proper english saving sales). Anyways after explaining my situation and expressing how obserd it was that I had to return my system and repurchase another to get the savings I was given the refund. The lady was very polite and it took no longer then 10 mins of my time!
So lesson learned, the most important thing is who you talk to. The overseas help was nice although I dont think she fully understood my issue.
Price adjustment?
