Business must be booming. Now they're even charging extra for colors other than black
-
I think you have it backwards, it used to be +$29 for colors but now is $20.
-
Really? No extra charge on any colors in Canada.
-
where u seeing that extra cost? i don't see it anywhere.
-
On my order all the color options were the same price: $0 USD
-
all except the black, black is $20 cheaper
-
Black has ALWAYS been $20-$29 less than all other colors, however CERTAIN configurations do not have this price difference for some reason...
-
I think the color prices may have gone up because I read in another post they were on backorder. The increased price may reflect expedited shipping or expenses from the manufacturer to meet Dells order demand?
-
All show $0 for me.
-
No, I just said it has ALWAYS been like this. The difference is the material the cover is made of, the Black is a basic matte while the others are shiny or Satin finish...which costs more. Like I also said, CERTAIN configurations do not reflect this price difference - however most do.
-
Paying for the colors or not simply depends on where you start from. With different e-value codes, promos, and even links on Dell's site, the colors could be all $0, or colors will be a $20 option (in this case, black is minus $20 if the config starts with a color).
-
I just looked and 1720s get colors for free while 1520s are charged $20.
-
I've seen different charges for color depending on the deal, e-value code, whether it's EEP or not, etc. I have heard that the black's finish is different from the other colors though ...
Prices / leadtimes still going up- hmmm
