Any thoughts on what it is going to be like with Vista being delayed till after Christmas and Intel coming out with the Duo 2?

Seems like alot of people will be waiting till after the holidays to get a laptop loaded with Vista. Also seems like current Duo and Pentium M price will be depressed due to new one. Also Duo 2 is supposed to AMD 64 back at number 2 in speed.

    Opinions please. Thanks!

I remember seeing an article a couple weeks ago that stated that some pc manufacturers and microsoft were considering offering a discount on vista if you buy a computer in the holiday season just before its release, to keep the industry from getting to stagnant.

I bought a PC from Dell right before XP came out. It came with a free upgrade to XP upon release. I paid shipping and packaging of ~$12.
