    I just happened to come across this blog... Looked handy with pretty neat pictures about what to expect or probably how to know if the GPU is failing (as many of us have been asking)......

    It seems like from all the stories I've been reading, most are about the m1330 failing. It seems to be the model most affected. It must be something about the chassis that makes the graphics fail more.

    Cramming a dedicated graphics card and a bunch of other heat sources into a 12-13.3 chassis is asking for trouble IMHO.

    That has nothing to do with the reason that the nVidia chips could be dieing from?

    It has everthing to do with the failure of the GPU, its the heat/cool cycle and the chasis of the 1330 is smaller, allowing more heat to build and most likely higher temps. Keep in mind however, the 1330 has been around a bit longer than say the 1530 so whos to say how things will look in about a year with these...
