    I have an Inspiron E1705, with 7900GS (rev1, 600/590 @ 1.24V).

I was playing UT3 today and noticed that the screen got dimmed and performance dropped.
Checked my power adapter (PA-10, 90w) and saw that its green light was off. Had to plug it out of the outlet and plug it in again a few times to get it working.
I tested a few more times, found out that it happens when I play UT3 on multiplayer only.

Is my power adapter faulty/defective, or does the system need more power and I need to get a PA-13/PA-15?

Did you by any chance volt mod that 7900GS (asking that because you gave the voltage of your card)?

If so, you might need the 130W adapter for your machine.
