    Hello,
randomly today I started having a problem with Control point connection manager on my E4600. The program would malfunction and then it would force exit, i would then get an error with something called SMManager Application. i tried to uninstall the Dell connection manager and then reinstall it but this did not work and the same problem exists.

how can i uninstall conneciton manager and just use the native wifi/network connection utility in windows? after uninstalling Connection manager, and I right click on the network icon to browse for wifi, it still says something like "if you have selected another program to manage your wifi, please use this"

or, how can i fix connection manager.

    thanks

One could try to boot into safe mode and this way you should be able to uninstall the program.

You should be able to uninstall Connection Manager through Add/Remove Programs.

    This worked for me.
