    Hello,

I have Dell Bluetooth keyboard and Dell Bluetooth Mouse connected to my Dell Latitude E6400 laptop (with Dell 410 Bluetooth card in it). Everythign was workign fine until I got the Dell BH200 Bluetooth headset. Now when the BH200 is connected the keyboard multiplies keystrokes: when a key is pressed after a pause in using the keyboard this key will be repeated exactly 6 times. For example, when I listen to music and browse the internet, using the mouse only and then I need to type something on the keyboard, the first key I press will be repeated 6 times. After that everything will be back to normal until another pause. The mouse also behaves a bit wrong with the BH200 in use: when touched after a pause its cursor will move randomly but it will get back in order in a second or so.

Does anyone have any suggestions regarding how to fix this?

    Thank you.

Do you have the most up-to-date drivers for your Bluetooth card?

Silly question, I know, but it really does make a difference. They release new drivers for a reason. ;)

This morning I downloaded and installed the most recent driver available on dell.com support. No change. I also got a second pair of BH200 and connected it instead of the original headset -- same behavior.

That's interesting. Have you tried using different combinations of only 2 devices at a time? E.g., use only the headset and keyboard together, or only the headset and mouse? If they function properly like that, then it seems your Bluetooth card might have issues simultaneously working with more than 2 devices at once.

I tried the following: removed the Bluetooth mouse from the list of paired devices and tried to use the bluetooth keyboard and laptop's built-in touchpad. The keyboard keeps multiplying the keystrokes.

That certainly is interesting. What keyboard do you have?
