Hello, I'm using Dell Inspiron 1440. here I found that the F1, F2, F3 buttons and so on are not set as default, instead they set it for the "volume", "brightness", and such as default.
So it makes me almost impossible to use some programs, because some of the programs I'm using needs a lot of F1 F2 F3... buttons.

my question is: Anyone knows how to change the keyboard of this Dell to the F1 F2 F3 type?

    Thanx a lot.

THere's a bios setting which lets you set if the default keys are F1..F3 or "volume brightness".
