    Hi,there!

I have this small problem with my new Dell Inspiron 1525 while watching a movie using a DVD. On the display ( monitor ) there are two large black horrizontal spaces. I can not remove it or adjust their sizes whether I set it at 16:9 or 4:3, letter box or true theatre. Is there any way I can remove or adjust the sizes of these large horrizontal black spaces?

    Thank you.

Basically no . . . the aspect ratio of what you are watching is not an exact match to your screen.

Sometimes you can zoom, but you may lose a portion of the picture.
